What are some good 1996-2001 sports cars that would be good to upgrade for street racing?

Mr.Orange
I want to upgrade a sportscar but what would be a good one that is in the 1996-2001 year range?

    G-Whizz. No doubt about it!

This would easily out-run @Julian’s LDV Convoy and the handling is far superior. LOL!

EDIT 1: Julian, I throw my gauntlet down at your feet. Bring it on son. ;-)

EDIT 2: Allan, please do join us! Just take care not to get tangled in my power cable. LOL!

Civic SI all the way baby! :D Great cars to drive, and also bring you respect from people who a know a thing or two about cars.

Edit: By the way, don’t literally street race.. go on a track. And people who think imports ****… I guarantee you that an import can beat a muscle car… despite popular belief.

Jeez dont street race in the first place, you’ll just look like a major tool/chotch. If you’re dumb enough to do at it least have some class and don’t buy a ricer civic.
