Street Racing Tips?

Hey, I’ve recently have become interested in street racing.. I know its highly illegal, but its so much fun… I just wanted to know if anyone could give me tips on driving a clutch. I know how, just i want to know how and when i need to down shift and maybe some tips on drifting corners… I would just go and learn myself but my car is in the shop at the moment getting tuned up. I just wanna know when I should be shifting to be getting the maxima amount of torque and acceleration.Im driving a Nissan Maxima 1990 V6. Maybe you guys could give me a site or some tips? Thanks.
and dont tell me not to, its my own choice not yours. Its my life, i know what it can add up to and what the consiquences are. Fully. Some people like to live life safe, others need a little something else. Dont tell me what to do please

want a street race tip; stop. if you want to race go to a race track. that is what they are made for. sooner or later you will learn the hard way.

Have u ever played any type of racing game?? Don’t drive like that. U can f up ur transmission bad if u don’t know how to drift u can easily mess up ur suspension. I have seen it happen.

well i am a drag racer but i do it professionally not illegally but ill try to help well of course will a stick to get faster accleration u can power shift (or shift without engaging the clutch) but this takes alot of practice and you have to be very fast on shifts so be careful you can tear it out. and u are street racing a maxima? If you really want some cash out there you either need to put some money in a big turbo or get a supra or 350z or somethin like that for drifting you want to have a pretty stiff suspension so it will bite and what kind of tires are u running? that is a huge part of it

It’s NOT your choice, you don’t own the roads or make the laws. And it’s NOT just your life. Have you ever noticed that there are millions of other people driving their families around on those same streets you terrorize? When you get one of them killed, your “realization of the consequences” won’t keep you out of jail. Take it to the strip, don’t race on public roads.
