Is it possible to use a more powerful aftermarket coil on a 1994 Honda Accord LX (16 Valve Non-V-tec)?

I’ve heard that if you get an MSD distributer cap you can then use aftermarket coils. But from what I’ve found that only works on the EX’s. Is there a high performance coil out there for an 1994 Honda Accord LX or is there some way to rig up a universal Accell Super Coil?
