@thehob1989 the new one’s interior is by the german designer, the entire 2011 line up is. thats why the quality of interior went up dramatically. the chassis the technology of the chassis and transmission are from the 90s. the engine is not efficient, the power is not good compare to the engine displacement, at the same time the fuel consumption per power is not outstanding. also, its SOHC without VVT.

@JackZeroZ The entire design is done by a team of designers led by Ralph Gilles(American). The chassis is completely revamped. The only carryover is the rear suspension. The transmission is from the 90s but still a very reliable transmission. There is an 8 speed that is coming next year designed by ZF co. It is supposed to improve efficiency and power greatly. The engine is fully naturally aspired with very good power without VVT. It only runs on 4 cylinders when cruising so its very efficient.

@JackZeroZ The chassis is not all new. It is significantly updated and improved for better handling. The only identical parts from the last gen 300 are in the rear suspension. It is a really good car all around for what it is, but some people may prefer different styles of cars.
