Volvo Develops New Green Racing Car for 2008 STCC Season

Volvo Car Corporation will develop a completely new racing car in 2008 and continue its work with bioethanol (E85) and Green Racing in the STCC (Swedish Touring Car Championship). The modern green racing car is based on the Volvo C30, the model that most clearly demonstrates Volvo’s environmental technology on the market, with versions such as the Flexifuel and the upcoming 1.6D Efficiency.

My dad is getting us a porsche?

I go to a, should I say “very privledged(sp?)” school. Where a kids first car is a Mustang GT or a 2008/09 Hummer and such. Then we do have those kids with the other cute little cars or whatever.
But so, my brother is getting his drivers l. next month and I get my permit (we were born exactly one year apart. both sep 13) anyways, and I mean is that a good car?
Its a vintage one. Its a 1973 one that my dad (he sponsers a race car driver) is buying from the guy he sponsers or whatever.
Its like a green color from what he tells me.
He wont tell me what it looks like but he says Ill like it. Should I be worried?

Do you think the car will look bad? Im scared I wont fit in. I know its a porsche but still, every car has its limits.
I wanted him to get me a volvo. But I still have another year until I get MY car. This is really simply my brothers. But I have to ride in it.

Im happy but a little scared.

Should I be worried? Does anyone know what this car may look like?

reversing problem–transmission or brakes?

Plain and Simple
I have a 98 Volvo station wagon–it works ok except when I put it in reverse the engine kind of races and even though you put on the brakes real hard it wanted to keep going. This happened today backing out of the driveway, and I almost hit the neighbors fence! Scary!

Do you think this is the transmission going out? Or does it sound like the brakes? They seem ok otherwise.

first rally car! ok, im looking at some cars. my dads a full mechanic and races in rallys?

hes got a 69′ mustang, 32′ coupe, an Austin Healey 100-6, a 56′ ford and a model-a……I need a rally car to race my uncle and my dad….i was thinking about an Audi quattro but i cant find one, maybe an old volvo or bimmer? saab? not sure…..i like euro cars tho and it needs to be good in snow and like 250+ bhp (not a priority these are just ideas)
