It is on a 350 chevy motor. Cannot seem to get adjusted right. Will idle and run but cannot get set right so there is enough power to accelerate when driving. Seems sluggish either too much or too little fuel, not sure which.

I currently am using a GM manifold, but also have a Performer intake.
TH 350,3:08 10bolt posi,67 camaro
On the motor is an early 80’s factory GM aluminum intake with a Rochester Q.Jet, also early 80’s. The Edel. Performer intake is on a shelf!! Not a race car.

it is all factory, and the ford motor company 2 barrel carb just keeps giving me trouble. i want the car to start every time, ma bye a little added performance, but not as important. anyone know the edelbrock part # i should order?

i was talking to this guy earlyer and he said he would rather have an edelbrock and re jet it than get a holley, he said they stay tuned better and actually perform better, is that true?

If so would it be a good idea to put it into a 6.2 liter chevrolet k5 diesel blazer how much power would it add and would it help gas mileage?
The diesel blazer is fuel injected but I dont know much about that kinda stuff

I’m trying to clean out an old Edelbrock Performer intake that has been sitting on an old 350 for about 10 years. It’s full of carbon buildup and years of grease internally and externally. What is safe to clean this buildup off?

i would like to know can the intake go bad at any point and what might be the reason. it was on a 305 motor and the car wouldnt stay running. when we took it off and put on another intake it fired right up and ran fine. so i want to know will it work if i put it on another 305 motor. or is the intake in fact bad.

I clean carberator with cleaner. Had rust from gas tank. After initial start up, the engine ran great. Then after trying to adjust the two jets to balance, the carberator lock to full throttle. This was after several time of stopping and starting working with timeing to improve start and acceleration. This carb only has the one pump and spring with dual floats.
