it’s a shame the program has been canceled.

i’m sure honda would have built another amazing car, best engines in the world.

It’s funny how you two say “All the faster cars in the world is RWD.” When the fastest production car in the world is AWD, “Bugatti Veyron”

Also a comment to “lobreiter” and “sirhcskoorb” which both stated that GT-R is the fastest car, but it loses to the “5% of car population that is RWD”. Obviously these kids are RWD fanatics, meaning they think RWD is god. Sorry kids, I had to break to ya, but did you consider “Bugatti Veyron” to be the 5%? Oh wait you can’t. You said the 5% that was faster was ONLY RWD, but Bugatti Veyron is a AWD car.. interesting.. Grow up you two, RWD is not god. Each drivetrain has pro/cons. Idiots.

“GTSRBOY” The old NSX was fast for it’s time period. When that car was day viewed it was considered as a fast sports car, but of course you can’t compare to it now. It would be stupid to. Honda postponed it, they didn’t really cancel it because of the recession. I reading an article on it, quoting “It’s a bad time for the Acura NSX to be made now”.

i read in a car mag that honda has stopped production plans on the new nsx. dont remember why but i think it had to do w/ the economy.

Mann I lovee Honda/Acura! Dad used to have an NSX, and what a lovelyyy car! The only thing about the new version is that at least from the pics of it so far, it doesn’t look as “supercar-ish” as some of its rivals or even its predecessor. Not saying it looks bad, it just looks more along the lines of a Ferrari 599 or even the Nissan GTR, as opposed to a “jap supercar” like the old one. Awh well, different cars, still looks and sounds sweett! The V10 will be mental!!

I’ve head the same thing. I heard it has been “shelved” as Honda does not feel they can sell enough of them with the world economy the way it is. Too bad :-( This car would have a lot to live up to though as the old NSX is an icon.

2010 NSX has been cancelled by Honda.

I was really looking forward to this car..the old NSX suffered from lack of power and preformance…this NSX was going to look better than any other car out there and finally be top dog preformance wise…get rid of that stupid underpowered V6 and put a real sports car engine in there 500+hp V10. Big loss to the car world

  12. Comment by ElAlmaSecreta — July 24, 2009 @ 4:48 pm

Yep…I just read it in modified mag. :( Very much a shame

  13. Comment by eatoutlots — July 26, 2009 @ 11:32 am

I like the 2011 NSX! Hope it not over $100K however! I love to see it come in at $65K

  17. Comment by ss3kidgoku — August 3, 2009 @ 9:51 am

i like the older models of the nsx better :p

  18. Comment by themalkinfamily — August 5, 2009 @ 1:20 pm

I hope not, but I read it on a car blog that cited an inside source. Also, since Honda went as far as to sell their formula 1 team this could be true. Let’s just hope it isn’t true and that Honda will still produce it.

  19. Comment by naboba — August 6, 2009 @ 7:48 pm

    is that true?

why would they build the car just for us…
a lot of rich people around the world.

  20. Comment by themalkinfamily — August 8, 2009 @ 2:22 pm

It’s a shame that Honda supposedly canceled the production of this car because of the economy.

  21. Comment by ambitiousboie — August 9, 2009 @ 11:12 pm

people tell me if that nsx will beat corvette ZO6 ?????????????

  22. Comment by sirhcskoorb — August 12, 2009 @ 9:31 am

The GTR is more than 5 sec. behind the fastest cars.
It may be faster than 95% of the cars out there but the other 5% that are faster are all RWD.

  23. Comment by lobreiter — August 14, 2009 @ 2:54 pm

Its reported that it has shaved 5 seconds off the Stock GT-Rs time. Which is very believe able. The GT-R is faster than 95% percent of Cars out there. That kind of puts to rest the idea that RWD cars are aways faster
