how do you know both generations had transmission problems ? I thoughtvthe defected trasnmission only came during 01-03 models.
the ugliest front end Ive seen on a car in a long time. That oversized metal/chrome beak is just attrocious! this car looks is not going to age well. LOL
I wonder if it has the same transmission problems as the last two generation tl’s…

The Honda Legend = the Acura RL
Mazda 6 looks like a generic POS. The Honda Accord looks much more European and upscale than the Mazda. Besides the Mazda is really a cheap unreliable Ford with a cheap interior.
I agree, these people are so stuck with their bland 20th century vehicles. The Lexus ES shouldn’t even be called a luxurycar since it is 100% Camry, boring, drives like a boat, bland styling.
granted…the TL’s styling is a little too overdone in terms of how the designers went for a beefy front grill. Most people just cant stand the big *** chrome slab on the front end.
If I were to get this car, I would definitely make sure that I paint the grill the same color as the car…and just keep the A chrome. That is a much cleaner much more aggressive look.
Other than the front, no complaints at all. I love what Acura brings to the table…However, Lexus is still #1 in Japan!
