And also, my truck has a pollution pump and cat converter. The carburetor is non-emissions. Does this mean the carb will not work on my truck? If so, is there a way of bypassing the emissions? Thanks.

Anyway my Jeep is running lean and it seams like it would benefit opening the secondaries a little earlier. Well I have a 1972 Honda CT70. Where the muffler bolts on the head is broken so it will not properly fit on. Well I am wondering if and aftermarket engine head could completetly fit and replace the pringinal. My bike is a 1972 72cc engine 3 speed semi auto Honda model CT70. Thanks for any help

I need to put a new stereo into my wife’s 1999 Honda Civic LX.
The guy at best buy said it would be like almost $200 because of the cost of the labor, wireharness, and an adapter because the keyless entry is wired through the radio. But I though the keyless entry was only wired to the radio up to the 98 models and the 99s were different. any help? maybe instructions? where can I buy a wire harness? how much $$ you want to install it for me? (i am totaly busy.. or just lazy… or car-inept. a little of everything.)

Rockstar from another dimension
So I have a ‘93 accord with a factory alarm. The key fob finally broke, and from what I hear, “universal” key fobs don’t work with factory alarms so I have to get one from the factory for $100. Well for that price I could just get a fancier aftermarket one off ebay with a pager, I’m just wondering an idea how difficult and roughly how much time it would take to install to decide which route I’m going to go.
I’ve worked with electronics before doing basic soldering, I’ve also installed a couple car stereos before, and home theatre systems are easy for me, so that’s about where my skill level is at.
Also are there any important things a first time installer should know, or be away to look out for when installing a new alarm?
The one I might be thinking about is the autopage rf-420, and I might end up adding a proximity sensor and/or pain siren.

My new edelbrock carburetor on a ford thunderbird 390 (1963) doesnt start untill ive spun it over for 30 seconds, can I pump it, should i pump it like my previous Holly that helped make a “mist” to start up. also the plugs are always wet and dont want to fire up at the start.

I have an 01 civic with aftermarket headlights. The problem is all my lights all work except my low beams. I’ve checked the power, the relay, fuses, the bulbs and even switched the connector from the high to low beams and they work. Any Ideas?

I need to replace my distributor and my right front axle for my 1991 Honda Civic. Honda sells a distributor for $671, where I can get it aftermarket for around $430 (and some sites even show it for around $200). Honda will sell me the whole drive shaft for $330, where I can purchase just the axle for $95 from an aftermarket dealer. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

The car is a 1953 Olds 98. The carb bolts right up but the stock linkage is opposite from what the Edelbrock requires. Also, the transmission is an automatic and I need to find a way to make the kickdown linkage work as well. Are there any adapters or brackets available to make this work?
